What is the difference between a Business Profile+ and a Business Register excerpt?

The Business Profile + contains essential data from the Business Register and additional content researched by the Compass editors.
The Business Register excerpt is an original document from the Austrian Business Register. In the excerpt you will find the most important data on companies that are subject to corporate law such as name, address, legal form, capital, authorized representatives (managing directors, authorized signatories), owners and much more.
Like the German Registers of Companies or the English Commercial Register, the Austrian Business Register is a public register. All registered companies are listed.

Where does the Personal Profil+ data originally come from?

The Personal Profile+ data comes from the Austrian Business Register. You may see active and former functions of the person to ownership and management.

What is Marketing Data all about?

Marketing Data of firmeninfo.at lets you select all companies of the Austrian Business Register by region, sector, turnover, employees and many other filters in order to download addresses, contact persons in a managerial capacity and lots of additional information. You have direct access to Austrian company data online, up-to-date and always available. This will provide you with the basis for your tailor-made target group for successful sales and marketing campaigns. Potential analyzes are also possible at any time due to the depth information. What is a firmeninfo-bonus?

A bonus is worth a lot and an advantage! For example, firmeninfo.at gives you a bonus when registering to test some of our services for free which are otherwise subjected to charge. However, a bonus can not be replaced in cash. register now

What are packages?

With an package, you pay in advance and receive 50% off on profiles or excerpts which are subjected to charge. In addition, you save money when buying a package. Packages are available in Small, Medium and Large - just as you need them. see the packages

Where do I see my credit?

With your credit, you can buy all services which are subjected to charge. Just open the settings in the menu bar on the top right and navigate to credit. In order to see all transactions with are sujected to charge just navigate to transactions within the settings menu.

How long is my credit valid?

Your balance is valid for a year from the date of purchase. The packages (with which a credit is acquired) primarly adress businesses, since firmeninfo.at is a business-to-business platform.

If, however, a consumer acquires a package within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act, the person concerned may extend the remaining credit balance free of charge after one year from the date of purchase. Just write a message to servicedesk@firmeninfo.at.

Which payment options are available?

In order to pay, you must provide at least a valid e-mail address and then the respective payment information (credit card, bank transfer or PayPal). After payment you will receive an e-mail with the link to the purchased documents including the invoice. All payments are made via our payment service provider "Mollie B.V.".

Direct Purchases and Packages

How can I add documents to or remove them from the shopping cart?

Please select the document (e.g. Profile+, excerpt from the Business Register, annual financial statements) first. The price for the products you have selected will be shown. Please confirm the selected product(s) by pressing the "Add to cart" button, which will direct you to the "Shopping Cart". You may view the contents of the shopping cart at any time. You may remove documents or services from the shopping cart at any time by clicking on the relevant button.

How can I purchase the documents in my shopping cart?

If you want to purchase the documents in the shopping cart, please click on the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will then be directed to an overview page where you may once again check the selected documents and the price. You will then be asked to enter an email address. The purchasing process may be discontinued at any time by closing the browser.

You will find a check box showing the text "By making a purchase you accept our General Terms and Conditions, the information on your right of cancellation and the exclusion of a right of rescission" below the overview of the selected documents described in paragraph (2), which text is linked to the relevant documents. By clicking on this check box before placing the purchase order you accept these General Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the information. By clicking on the "buy now" button the purchase of the documents in the shopping cart will be completed.

How can I retrieve the documents I have already purchased?

After payment your documents will be provided on a download page and a link to that download page will also be sent to the email address you advised. All documents on the download page will remain retrievable for 30 days.

Can packages also be purchased as direct purchases?

No, packages cannot be purchased as direct purchases because they require separate registration.

What packages are available?

There are three types of packages (for more detailed information please see the "Prices" section of the navigation menu):
(a) small
(b) medium
(c) large

What is the difference between a direct purchase and a package?

Once you have registered at "firmeninfo.at" and are logged in, only the option of purchasing a package will remain available to you.

By purchasing a package you buy a fixed-amount credit balance. By means of this balance you may purchase all fee-based contents. If you purchase fee-based content by means of your balance, the balance will be reduced by the relevant purchase price. Services which also non-registered users may purchase cost 50% less when purchased via a package than when purchased via an online payment.

How long can I use my package for?

The term of contract commences on the day on which payment is confirmed by our payment service provider, and we will inform you thereof by email; the term is one year. The balance must be used up within this term and any amounts remaining after one year will become forfeited.

New packages may be purchased at any time and the new balance will be added to the existing balance. With any new purchase the period of one year will start again.

What happens if my balance is not sufficient?

If the balance is not sufficient to purchase a service, you may only open free contents unless you buy a new package.

Where can I find the current prices of the fee-based contents?

You may view the different fee-based contents at any time in the "Pricing" section at "firmeninfo.at". There you can also see the price difference between direct purchases and acquisition via packages.

Are there differences between entrepreneurs and consumers when it comes to the packages?

Packages are offers that are addressed to entrepreneurs, as "firmeninfo.at" is generally a business to business (B2B) platform. If, however, a consumer as defined in the Austrian Consumer Protection Act [Konsumentenschutzgesetz/KSchG] purchases a package, the consumer may roll over the remaining balance free of charge after expiry of one year from the purchase. A simple message to "servicedesk@firmeninfo.at" is sufficient for that purpose.
